The ground breaking ceremony for the Southeast New Territories (SENT) Landfill Gas Processing Facilities was held on 15 July 2015. Mr Joe Zorn, Country Director of Veolia Hong Kong, Mr Robert Peterson, General Manager of Green Valley Landfill, Limited (GVL), Mr Philip Siu, Chief Operation Officer – New Energy Business of Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (HKCG), and a representative of the Environmental Protection Department of Hong Kong were there to officiate the ceremony.

Veolia’s Tianjin Shibei water project, which started in 2007, received recognition from the Commission and was among one of the case studies.
