Extension of the agreement on proposed share ownership changes at Transdev

Pulp & paper
Drawing on 40 years of experience in pulp and paper, as well as a network of subsidiaries across the world, Veolia provides paper manufacturers with a selection of technological solutions covering the entire range of requirements inherent to the water cycle: production of utility water and process water, evaporation concentration of black liquor and chloride and potassium removal through crystallization, wastewater and sludge treatment downstream of the production unit. Veolia has installed over 1,000 water treatment facilities throughout the world in the pulp and paper sector.

Agreement in sight between EDF and Veolia Environnement on Dalkia
EDF and Veolia Environnement have entered into advanced discussions for the conclusion of an agreement on their joint subsidiary Dalkia, one of the world's leading provider of energy services. The Boards of Directors of EDF and Veolia Environnement have met and approved the continuation of these negotiations.
COP21: Veolia campaigns for a low-carbon economy
With just 200 days to the COP21, the heads of companies from all over the world are responding to the appeal made by the UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon, asking the private sector to play an active role for the climate. They came to the Business & Climate Summit held at Unesco in Paris and with one voice called for an ambitious agreement to be made between governments to limit the temperature increase to 2°C when they meet in Paris in December. During a session on innovation, the CEO of Veolia, Antoine Frérot, talked about the key role Veolia could have in implementing a low-carbon economy.
